O momento do desfralde é muito importante para toda a família – e também para o meio ambiente! – mas traz com ele muitas dúvidas: Qual a idade ideal para retirar as fraldas? A criança já está dando sinal? Mas que sinal é esse?
A criança começa a andar, a falar as primeiras palavrinhas e os pais se perguntam se já esta na hora de começar o desfralde. Mas aí chegam as dúvidas, a tensão, a dificuldade… E também a oportunidade de vivenciar, junto com seu filho, mais uma etapa do crescimento!
Mas, afinal, qual e a idade ideal? Alguns pediatras afirmam que a partir dos 18 meses a criança já está fisiologicamente madura para realizar este controle. O que significa que está com o organismo pronto para iniciar o controle esfincteriano.
Mas o aspecto fisiológico sozinho não determina o momento certo. Aqui em nossa creche, quando as famílias nos procuram para tratar desta etapa do desenvolvimento infantil, convidamos os responsáveis a refletirem sobre alguns aspectos que consideramos determinantes:
- A família está pronta para dar este passo junto com a criança? Este será um processo que mudará momentaneamente a rotina de todos os adultos que estão envolvidos com a criança!
- Seu filho já se locomove pelos espaços com firmeza e sabe colocar e tirar sua roupa com autonomia?
- Já toma banho em pé no chuveiro?
- Já está dormindo em uma cama e deu adeus ao berço? Ela vai precisar sair da cama para ir ao banheiro.
- Já não mama mais deitado na cama antes de dormir? Vamos precisar delimitar um tempo, pelo menos uma hora antes de dormir, para a ingestão de liquido e não sobrecarregar a bexiga antes adormecer.
Se você respondeu “sim” à maioria das perguntas, então está na hora de fazer um estoque de calcinhas e cuecas e partir para a segunda parte desta aventura!
Este será um momento de crescimento e um dos primeiros passos para seu filho tornar-se autossuficiente!
Tenha em mente que viver é natural e toda e qualquer etapa no desenvolvimento infantil será sempre tranquila para a criança se ela tiver ao seu lado um adulto que conduza todo o processo com leveza!
